Tournament Champion -
OZZY
(the artist formerly known as Mr. Crowley)
Long Dive - Snapper
Best Shot - Yeti
Long Putt -Bear
Horse's Ass - Brawny
2025 saw a surprise winner come from the fifth place position with a whopping 62 point Sunday .
Brawny didn't do a single thing to earn the horse's ass, other than to remark that he'd never won a trophy at this event. Careful what you wish for.

You never know...
Further plans to come...
The Thursday Par Three contest has been a great start for those who did it. I will definitely be going up on Thursday. Baroo & Brawny are also in for Thursday. We're looking for at least one more. If there's interest in a par three contest, there are good options nearby. We can also just get in an extra round at Alpine. After a nightcap, a good night sleep and you wake up Friday, already at the Venue If anyone else is interested in going up Thursday, call and let me know.

HOW WILL THIS B FLIGHT WORK?
My hope is that almost everyone is going to play the full 72 hole golf outing as usual. However, as we've been doing this for over 30 years now, there now is an option that is less physically demanding.
This year, the "B flight" will again be an option that players can choose. The B flight will play 3 rounds, one each day. The B flight will play be scheduled for three founds of golf instead of four. Friday we will still mix all of the golfers together and keep wolf score. Saturday morning, the wolf tournament goes on but the B flight players do not play. Saturday afternoon, we will have the traditional 4 man scramble, separate from the wolf tournament with everybody playing. Sunday the Wolf tournament concludes with the third round, and everyone playing wolf. The B flight players will play in a separate group or groups from those playing the full tournament, with B flight picking up their wolf scores from Friday for a chance to be the B flight winner or playing a scramble, or whatever they like. Those playing the full tournament will pick up their 2 round score for a chance to be golf outing champion. Hopefully, we will be able to set up even foursomes.
The golf package will be the same, with the possible exception of $10.00 less for if you don't go 36 on Saturday. The prize money collected from me will also be the same, with just a couple of less chances to win, but a shot at all the same contests.
When committing to the outing, please make a preliminary indication of full tournament or B flight. This can be changed up until just before the outing starts, but I do not want to see people dropping to the B flight during the weekend unless an injury has happened. This is for bad backs, not for hangovers.
DO SOMETHING FOR ME IN RETURN:
I really hate it when people leave early. Stay for Sunday lunch & prizes. The B flight isn't an excuse to blow everyone off and leave without saying goodbye.

2026 tournament wolf rules
(Same as before)
This year there’s no picking partners, you play six holes with everyone
Each Player will be designated player 1,2,3 or 4 by flipping a tee.
1st 6 holes, it’s players 1 & 2 v. 3 & 4
2nd 6 holes, it’s players 1 & 3 v. 2 & 4
3rd 6 holes, it’s players 1 & 4 v. 2 & 3
Friday: ride with your roommate. NO LONE WOLF
WOLF SCORING: EVERY HOLE ADDS UP TO 8 POINTS.
Low team total is 4 points, 2 to each on the low team
Or 1 pt for all 4 if the teams tie.
Low individual is 4 pts, 2 to each on his team
Or 1 pt for all 4 if it’s a tie
Saturday morning: Foursomes designated by wolf point standings, as usual
IT’S 2 MAN SCAMBLE WITH ROTATING TEAMS FOR WOLF POINTS!
1st 6 holes, it’s players 1 & 2 v. 3 & 4
2nd 6 holes, it’s players 1 & 3 v. 2 & 4
3rd 6 holes, it’s players 1 & 4 v. 2 & 3
But unlike Friday, it’s a scramble, 2 against 2
WOLF SCORING: EVERY HOLE ADDS UP TO 8 POINTS.
Low 2-man-team, 4 for each guy, high team, 0 for each guy: total 8
If the two man teams tie the hole, all 4 guys get 2 points: total 8
Saturday Afternoon: 4 man scramble, separate and apart from the wolf tourney, as usual
Sunday Morning: Conclude the Wolf Tourney, same rules as Friday,
MAXIMUM SCORE: 6 on par 3
8 on par 4 or 5
IF YOU UNEXPECTEDLY END UP IN A THREESOME
Then it's one against two, with each person taking one third of the holes as the single
Six point per hole not 8
Single wins low score - he gets all 6
Single ties low score - everyone gets 2
Single gets beat for low score - the twosome gets 3 each.
ONE CLUB LENGTH:
to avoid bad lies or bad luck, you can move the ball one club length:
-You cannot move the ball from off the green to on
-You cannot move a ball already on the green except to avoid trouble spots
-you cannot move out of a sand trap but can move within the trap
You can move out of the rough onto better grass or out of an unplayable spot
-You cannot move closer to the flag
· The Pinky: Everyone gets a Mulligan Ball to use for the weekend (the Pinky). You can use it once every nine holes, if you need it. You can only use it as a mulligan off the tee, and if you use it you must play the entire hole with it. IF YOU LOSE YOUR PINKY, YOU’RE OUT OF MULLIGANS FOR THE REST OF THE WEEKEND
· The Cloh Throw: Once per 18 Holes, You can plant your foot & throw the ball instead of hitting it with a club. You have to be able to plant your foot where the ball is.
· The Don’t be a Dick Rule:
Frankly, I expect this to be less of an issue this year...
· The second try if you buy rule: If you are first from your group to buy a round for your group from the cart girl, you have a second-try putt to use later in the round when you need it.
THE NEW "STOP IT SIGGY" ADENDUM...Your second try putt must be called out loud and clear within 5 seconds of your miss (and you only get one)
One club length. (look left. The rule's there)
· The Todd Rule: If one guy wins too much stuff I may just re-distribute.
The Dentist Rule: All putts within the length of a standard putter are good. Keep in mind that the don't be a dick rule can be applied to 35 inch putts, If it's an inch or two outside the putter length, you can still give someone a putt.
The Yeti rule: Cloh Throws can be used to dunk a putt.
Siggy Rule 3.7 If your third putt is for a double bogey or worse, it's good.
Coco rule: Talk politics -get fined 2 bucks ($5.00 for Coco)
The Gong Show Rule:
Make a Birdie - Dance like Gene Gene The Dancing Machine.
The Chicken Dance or the Hawk Walk will also be acceptable.

*No 14 club rule. Bring em all.
· The Siggy Rule: I reserve the right to make up other alcohol-influenced rules.
THE POMPER RULE: MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN. If you're not there for Sunday Lunch, I'm keeping it or giving it to someone else.

A three-day, three-round competition. This is the golf tournament part of the golf tournament
