2) Get to the tees on time for golf
RULE ONE: DON'T DRIVE
RULE TWO: ON TIME FOR GOLF
ALSO KIND OF SERIOUS:
Alpine Valley is more persnickety than other places about outside beer and liquor on the golf course. Let's just indulge them and buy our drinks from them while on the course. Personal beer in the rooms of course will not be a problem.

Horse's Ass - See below
Crowley busting out the dance moves may have been the non-golf highlight of the '23 event. The horse's ass award was first awarded to Crazy Mike - just cause. After goodbyes, however, it was observed that Jeff the Borg, who may have wanted that championship trophy pretty badly, had left it on the table. So, the GONG SHOW RULE II (where I reserve the right to change who won the trophy) was invoked, and several of us went to the car where the championship trophy and horses ass were awarded to the Borg. Then I went back to tie up loose ends, which included the fact that Russ didn't have his phone and "find my phone" said it was headed down I-90 (turns out it was in the cup-holder of the Bear's chair). Then, there was Baroo. The Angry elf had left without him. So, in absentia, and after the fact, I have invoked the GONG SHOW RULE again and awarded the '23 horse's ass award to Mussar.

BEER ON COURSE
As some of you may remember, they really are serious there about not packing your own beer into the golf cart. Just stock up your room and buy drinks from them on the golf course.
SINGLES AVAILABLE
Alpine Valley is not sold out. For a slight increase in the package price, single rooms are available. If you want a single, let the resort now when you call in and then let me know.
For the last 3 years the Thursday Par Three contest was a great start for those who did it. The Thursday Club has been Commander McBragg, Coco Puffs, Billy Baroo & Brawny. This year, we're in a different place. That said, if anyone is interested in going up Thursday, call and let me know. If there's interest, it can still be done.
